Lynda enjoys drawing, painting and spending time with others who do too. She thinks art classes should be fun- not intimidating, and that students should be encouraged to learn and develop visual art skills much like they’re encouraged to enjoy, practice, and learn music. “There are many styles of music, and there are many types of art.” She thinks painting with others sharpens creativity, refreshes and expands artistic skills. Being familiar with the National Standards of Art, she includes art elements and design principles, and makes art history connections when it’s appropriate. In her semi-retirement, she hosts art ventures. She enjoys small group paint-togethers, and personalized drawing lessons for all ages – 6 to 76.
